Lauren’s place is full of character and old world charm with all the modern amenities. It is an historic building with original boards and authenticity but with modern bathrooms and nicely furnished. Great location for Chagford and walking to pubs and shops. Great to have parking for more than one car. Nice touches on arrival. Only thing we missed was somewhere to sit outside given we were lucky enough to have some nice weather! Appreciate that most of the time this doesn’t matter and it’s cost and warm inside!

The house is so well equipped and was enjoyable to stay. The village it is in is gorgeous, lovely pubs shops, deli, bakeries, tea shop. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and being so close to a lovely market town with such quality foods and goods on offer. Had a fab week.

A very comfortable house in a great location. We were unlucky with the weather so were glad to have Belaire as a cosy haven from the constant rain.

Just spent a fantastic weekend break here with friends. The house is beautifully decorated and has every amenity you could wish for. Three great pubs in very short walking distance (I recommend Sunday lunch at The Globe). Dog friendly with some lovely walks nearby. Chagford is a really friendly place with a few great shops and cafes. Would highly recommend

A lovely house in a great location - right in the centre of the village but entirely private and not overlooked at all. Everything in the house was really good quality, comfortable, worked well - and useful things like torches and firewood had been left out. Kitchen had everything we needed. Really helpful recommendations on food and dining, sent well in advance, gave us a chance to make some plans while being comfortable that there were lots of options, so we took no food from home. And a very much appreciated welcome gift when we arrived. Thanks!
