The wonders of the Dartmoor National Park can be explored by car, bicycle or with great local walks from the doorstep, and the historical Cathedral city of Exeter is only 30 minutes' drive away. Gladesville House was built in the Arts and Crafts Style and is packed with original features. This gorgeous apartment is located at the front of the building. You enter the house through the communal front door and go up the stairs to the apartment. Through the private entrance door to the hallway which has doors to the Kitchen/sitting/dining room,2 double bedrooms and a bathroom. The sitting room has a lovely original decorative fireplace and the master bedroom is beautifully decorated in a deep blue with golden accents. The kitchen is equipped with electric hob, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and washing machine. Furnished with antiques, William Morris fabrics and a quality modern bed and quality mattress.

This was a lovely place to stay, very central to the village and with high end linen and furnishings. Also, I had to cancel and shorten stays at short notice and the cancellation policies were generous.

superbe appartement au cœurde Chagford. Place de parking devant l'appartement, sinon le parking "healthcentre" est à moins de 5 min à pied. Gratuit le soir, si vous repartez que vers 11h, cela vous coûtera seulement 0,5 livres, très pratique. nombreux commerces, plusieurs excellentes boulangerie, on a craqué pour le ginger cake de birdcage. Pub à côté de l'appartement, ring'o Bells excellent rapport qualité/prix, on recommande leur pie et le dessert Eton Mess. appartement paisible, spacieux, très bien équipé. Le chambre bleue donne sur un joli jardin. espace de vie est grand et bien équipé. endroit parfait pour rayonner dans le dartmoor.
Village is nice, flat is smaller als shown on the pictures but nice. Communication with the agency is unfriendly. Expect to receive many standard instruction. It was ok in the end but slightly overpriced
Perfect place to stay. Kitchen and furnishings (mattresses, new sofa suite in lounge) are brand new and of high quality. Beds very comfortable. Also surprisingly quiet as looks out over the back. Loved the high ceilings and floorboards combined with cosiness of modern windows and good shower etc. The deep blue bedroom was bliss indeed!
