Absolutely perfect! The house and garden had such a wonderful feeling. Adam was very helpful whenever needed and we left feeling utterly relaxed and grateful for our stay.

Wonderful location and a stunning house. For walkers access to many different types of walking, immediate access to a beautiful stretch of the River Teign, and walking up on the moors and tors. For relaxing, a beautiful peaceful spot, with excellent local restaurants, (Michelin * Gidleigh Park up the road), lively local pubs, and a brilliant deli with home cooked ‘ready meals’. Artisan bakery, cheese shop, and a brilliant whole foods store and cafe. We raided the excellent book shop and spent evenings after the pub reading with the window cracked to hear the Teign tumbling over boulders in the background. Perfect spot!

Fabulous to walk into such a clean and beautifully decorated house. Kitchen was perfect, the bed very comfortable and the shower great. The garden was very pretty and the woodland at the back alive with squirrels! Lovely walks. And the moors easy to get to. We had an amazing time and thoroughly recommend One Gidleigh Park as the perfect getaway.

We had a lovely stay here, the house and setting are beautiful. There are good walks nearby with access to the moors. One evening when in the glass patio area at the back of the house we were lucky enough to spend some time watching a deer in the back garden which itself opens out into a forest area. Everything was very clean, everything you would need for a stay was present in the house and the beds were very comfortable!
