甘露市 · 整套度假木屋 · 4室5床3.0卫 · 可住10人 · Log house in the woods - ATV paradise!
This charming log house is situated on a family owned and operated 160-acre forested property a short drive north of Sun Peaks Resort. Take in the serenity of this remote and unique property while enjoying the modern comforts of a freshly furnished home. Includes a hot tub overlooking the forest, and a 4ft deep pool for summer time fun! We also have miles upon miles of trails that go all over the mountain, that you can access directly from the property. Ideal for ATVs or side-by-sides. Constructed in 1984, this beautiful log house was family built with wood sourced directly from the property. All water dispensed inside the log house is pumped directly from a year-round running spring behind the building. You are more than welcome to bottle up some spring water to take home! Our property is the perfect place to unwind and de-stress as you take in the picturesque views and fresh mountain air. Whether you are here to visit Sun Peaks or take it easy as a family, you will feel right at home. Entering the front door at ground level you will find a king bedroom, bathroom, fully equipped kitchen and large living/dining area with access to the rear patio. There is a staircase leading upstairs to the master bedroom with ensuite bathroom, and another bedroom which sleeps 3 with a bathroom just outside. The basement hosts an entertainment area with satellite TV (option for HDMI input), foosball table, board games and a beautiful 10 x 10 ft leather couch. There is also another bedroom with a queen bed and a backup single mattress which can be laid out. Our property is your playground. The kids will love the large lawn which has plenty of space for any lawn game you can think of! Get around the firepit on those crisp fall nights to cook up some s'mores and tell your best dad jokes. We also have a 1500 acre woodlot attached to our property that you can explore on your ATV or side-by-side. If you're adventurous, you can also follow trails all the way to Martin Meadows Lake, Badger Lake, and Knouff Lake which are on the top of the mountain behind the log house. Guests are welcome to bring their own ATV's. You should receive nothing short of a five-star experience when staying at our property. If you have any requests prior to your stay we will always do our best to accommodate.
Amazing airbnb! Quiet, secluded area. The house was beautiful and clean. Beds were extremely comfortable. Everything we needed was there! We especially enjoyed the hot tub and outdoor spaces. One of the best airbnbs I’ve been to. The host was very easy to communicate with when needed.
We had an absolute excellent time at the log cabin! It was spotless, comfortable, and really awesome place to stay! Hot tub was excellent and we even had a fire on the last night. We would love to stay there again sometime soon! Thank you, Greg and thanks to Ken too!
We had a great time! Lots of outdoor space to explore and the cabin was nice and clean. The kitchen was stocked which was great as we were there with kids and cooked everyday. We forgot a few items when we left and the host messaged us as soon as we were back in reception and we were able to go back and collect them. Great stay and would definitely stay again! Thanks for hosting us!
Cabin is unreal and in an even more unreal location. Definitely the best air bnb that my family and I have stayed at. The log cabin was built by their father and the craftsmanship is out of this world.
Louis Creek: On the property, just a stroll from the log house. A great spot for a creekside picnic
Country Store Antiques (15 mins): Rob runs a great antique store with some absolute gems; good luck leaving here empty handed!
Johnson Lake & Resort (15 mins to entrance, another 30 mins to lake): Breathtaking crystal clear water. There are hikes, free overnight camping spots as well as rentals for water activities.
Town of Barrieré (15 mins): All the essentials you need while on your trip. Get your groceries at AG Foods, beverage supplies at BC Liquor, stop by the Blue Jar Cafe for some excellent food and treat yourself to some ice cream at the ice cream stand across the road from Petro Canada)
Adam's Lake (25 mins): You can take your boat out on the lake and go fishing, or hang out on the beach and take in the views.
Sun Peaks (40-50 mins): A gorgeous four-season resort town with mountain biking, skiing, golf, kids activities, bars and restaurants. Easy to get to from the property and well worth a look if you haven't been up there yet.
Clearwater & Wells Gray Provincial Park (1 hour): This place is stunning and absolutely worth the drive. My tip is to get there in the morning so that you have all the time you need to explore this area. Checking out Helmcken Falls is a must. If you are driving back after 5pm I highly recommend stopping for dinner at Hop N Hog in Clearwater for some amazing BBQ and craft beers.
City of Kamloops (50 mins): Chances are you will be passing through here on the way to or from our property. The best place to eat here at any time of the day is Mittz Kitchen, which you will find downtown. Looking for a quicker, cheaper alternative? Jamaican Kitchen has two restaurants in Kamloops and their daily special never disappoints! Wash your meal down with some great local beer at Red Collar Brewery.
A vehicle is required to reach the property. There is enough parking space to accommodate all visitor vehicles.
During winter it is highly recommended to have snowflake winter tires instead of all-season. 4WD is always preferable.

My wife and I are the proud owners of the Louis Creek Retreat, and I am the 2nd generation to own and manage the property. My parents first moved here in 1976 and built both the custom log houses. I lived on the property until university, and am happy to be able to now share this stunning and unique land with our guests. We strive for every guest to have a unique and memorable experience.
