Sarah was incredibly flexible with us prior to our stay and was a great communicator. The house was in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to restaurants and the beach.
A great and comfortable home for me and my familys vacation ! Sarah was extremely responsive and helpful and was a great host to us. Would come back here again!
Sarah was a lovely host from start to finish. The place was clean, the kitchen was well-stocked, and the neighborhood was charming. Our family especially liked the sunny living and dining spaces, the lovely deck with peekaboo views of the ocean, and the courtyard. Our only issue was that the house was not a great place for little children—we had a 2 and 4 year old. It would be perfect for children older than 6, we all thought. Lovely family memories were made there.
Cute beach houst in family friendly neighborhood. Beautiful beaches within a short walk or drive. Close to groceries and restaurants. Marianne’s Ice Cream was visited multiple times during our stay. Thank you Sarah for a great trip!
Sarah's Aptos home was the perfect spot for my family to relax and enjoy the beautiful Santa Cruz area. The home is within walking distance to the beach and has everything we needed for a lovely week. Sarah has a well stocked kitchen with everything we needed to cook family dinners. The barbecue was perfect for burgers. The spiral staircase was not an issue. Even my 77 year old mom was able to use it with no problems. We had a couple of home issues that were not Sarah's fault. The hot water heater went out and the heater wasn't working for a day due to the plumber turning the gas off when he came to fix the hot water heater. None of this was Sarah's fault. She was very responsive and all issues were resolved quickly. Overall we had a great time and would stay at Sarah's home again.

Hello! Welcome to my Aptos beach house. A little bit about me... I spent 15 years living and working overseas with my family in Morocco, Lithuania, and Costa Rica. I returned to California in 2015 and fell in love with Aptos and the Monterey Bay for its beautiful beaches, mountains, and access to the San Francisco Bay Area. As a beach lover, surfer, runner, and hiker, I found Aptos to be the perfect spot to enjoy nature, the beach, and the mountains all with having quick access to San Francisco to see a Giant's baseball game or to head into Oakland or Berkeley for Ethiopian, Greek, or Indian food, to see a show, or hike in the hills. I love adventure travel and do most of my traveling with my kids so I understand what parents are looking for in a vacation - ease and simplicity, memory making, less time in the car and more time doing fun things together, etc. I believe that showing children the world as often and as early as possible is important. “Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts.
