Emily’s home is gorgeous, inviting, comfortable, and so well located in the heart of the Westside, close to many restaurants, breweries, coffee shops, and more. We loved every second of our stay! The house is so beautiful and so is the backyard - an absolute oasis! We would stay again in a heartbeat! Emily is also a very responsive, generous, and kind host. Thank you for everything, Emily!

Emily’s home is an artfully appointed sanctuary that is the perfect place to relax while exploring Santa Cruz. The lovely kitchen is well equipped to prepare any meal. The large living room felt cozy in the cool evenings with the flagstone fireplace lit, the furniture inviting and comfy. The bedrooms are private and very quiet at night. The beds are comfortable and clean. The bathrooms were sparkling with no chemical smell at all. Though the house is stunning, the real magic is in the backyard where we spent most of our time. In the mornings I practiced yoga on the large slate patio while the birds chirped and the fog still hung in the trees. In the afternoons, we read in the shade of the large tree while our son hogged the hammock. We took morning and evening walks around the neighborhood. We walked to downtown several times to shop and grab lunch. We feel so grateful that Emily shared her magical home with us. We are already making plans to come back.

One word describes Emily's home: tranquil. The rooms of this modern ranch style home are large and minimalist. The floors throughout are an attractive tile. There are 2 lovely full baths, one with a large walk in shower, the other a tub/shower. There are lots of windows for ample natural light. Even though it was quite hot, the house stayed comfortably cool. We spent most of our time sitting outside enjoying the private and peaceful natural surroundings... and playing darts. My father, brother and I were delighted to be so close to UCSC for my niece's graduation. It is a convenient location for everything Santa Cruz. My Dad slept in the master suite, I was on the daybed in the second bedroom and my brother on the couch in the living room. We didn't partake in the hot tub but it's private and right off the master bedroom. Emily made the whole experience really easy from booking to arrival. Thank you Emily!

WOW! Emily’s home is such a gem. It’s rare to get such an incredible backyard in this neighborhood and Emily and her husband have truly made the space into a luxury retreat. The living room was the perfect lounging area. The linens were so comfortable, Toto washlets were a treat, and the kitchen appliances were all top of the line! Then outside… the hot tub beneath the pines surrounded by a symphony of wind chimes - too incredible! We would LOVE to stay here again. One thing to note for dog owners - there are deer and other critters that roam the space behind the home - which was incredible, but also meant that there were some ticks that our dog picked up just roaming the yard. We were able to do checks on him and prevented any issues, but recommend others do thorough checks before going inside the home.
