Absolute wonderful home. our family of 3 had a wonderful week. During the day, we hiked the beautiful property, nearby area, and drove to national parks. In the evening we cooked dinner, played board games and watched movies. Where else can you walk out on the patio, reach up, and pick fresh grapes hanging over your head. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

We spent here three fantastic days there. The property is a nature lover’s dream. Even though we were close to Sequioa National Park we didn’t want to leave the area of the house. The inside of the house is beautiful and very well equipped.

We treasured our time in this beautiful place! Some highlights: cooling off at the creek, making s’mores in fire pits, continuing to enjoy nature indoors with views from the living and dining area large windows, games and books for all ages to enjoy, hiking on nearby trails recommended by hosts where it seemed like we had the national park to ourselves… Homes like this that have been built and designed with love are harder and harder to find on Airbnb these days and truly special!

We loved staying in middle of a forest with all the amenities and feel of home. We appreciated the personal touches to connect with the hosts and the story of the house. Catie and David were very responisive when we had questions or needed help. We'd be happy to stay again next time we're in the area.

Sweet Oaks is absolutely an incredible place to stay. It is extremely private and secluded. It is very well managed and has very clear instructions for handling how to manage the electricity, as it is truly “off the grid “. You are not near restaurants, towns, grocery stores, etc, so come prepared for cooking for yourself. That said, you also aren’t going to have any neighbors coming around during your stay, which is exactly what we wanted. Loved that we could make a phone call in an pinch, but that our kids didn’t have enough wifi/cell service to just sit on their phones all evening.
