Location was incredible. Literally a 1 block walk to the beach and you can see Lake Michigan from the yard! One block the other direction and you’re at the compass fountains and on your way downtown. Hard to imagine a better location for a family. The primary bedroom is huge, the pictures don’t do the scale justice. On the flip side, the second bedroom is just large enough for the bed and your bags, and worked just fine for us. I was pleasantly surprised with the high resolution computer monitor and comfortable desk to get some remote work in. The chair was comfortable and the USB-C laptop connection worked flawlessly. We ran into Logan one morning on way back from a walk and he was friendly and offered any assistance we might need.

We had the pleasure of meeting Logan when we checked in, and he was so friendly and helpful. The rental was perfect for our family of four, and location could not be beat! As others in the reviews have said, we parked our car on arrival day and didn’t use it again until check out. It was close to everything and just what we needed to rest and recharge at the end of every fun filled day. We will definitely return!

The house is in the best location! Everything was walkable. With small children we especially enjoyed the closeness to the splash pad and carousel. The house itself was stocked with everything we needed for cooking. Plenty of space for our family of 4. The only downside is the 2nd bedroom was small, so while my 3 year old was able to sleep in the bed, my 1 year old’s pack and play was unable to fit and it had to go into the larger bedroom with my husband and I. Not a big problem, but just an FYI for anyone in the future. Overall we had a great stay and I would recommend this house to anyone!

This property was absolutely lovely! You could see the lake from the bottom of the driveway and only a ten minute walk into the town itself. The property was spotless and had everything that we needed for our stay in addition, Logan was a charming and responsive host!

Our family of 4 (2 adults, 3 year old, 1 year old) had a wonderful stay! The location of the house is unbeatable - steps away from the beach, beach playgrounds, splash pad, carousel, and train station / pizza place (and a very short walk to downtown so you don’t need your car). The house was not luxurious but was quaint and had everything our little family needed for an easy beach vacation. We rented a crib, high chair, double stroller, and beach wagon from Beachside Rentals which made things easy. Would definitely stay here again - this property and St. Joseph, MI are hidden gems!
