Beautiful apartment in a fantastic location, quick walk into the heart of downtown and to the river which is a beautiful place to walk to the ness islands. Cozy, quiet and clean and well equipped with everything one could need. David and family were great at communicating and giving tips for enjoying all Inverness has to offer. We really enjoyed our visit and would recommend it highly!
We felt personally welcomed by David and the home was lovely - a very quick walk into the town center, wonderful restaurants, and river walk, but a peaceful oasis with lots of room to stretch out and lovely amenities. David’s local recommendations were spot-on and thorough. Communication was excellent throughout - personal, warm, friendly, and quick. Thank you for a lovely stay!
It was a wonderful stay at Davids. It was right by the city, easy to walk to. It was very clean. It had everything you needed which is a plus in my book. David was a great host.
David's place was great - comfortable space for 6 people, tastefully decorated with nice furnishings and attention to detail, excellent location near the river and within walking distance of restaurants and pubs. David was very responsive and had everything well organized. We really enjoyed our stay and would have no hesitation recommending the property for anyone visiting Inverness!

I have travelled extensively in Scotland and overseas, and still travel frequently for work and pleasure. I spent a few years living and working in Canada and Australia, and so these two countries will always have a special place in my heart. Some of my other most memorable trips include - Iceland, Mauritius, Borneo, Jordan and India. Currently the wonderfully vibrant city of Istanbul comes at the top of my favourite cities list, with New York, Helsinki, Lisbon and Budapest currently fighting it out for second place! I love nothing more than meeting new people, from whichever country they may hail. and look forward to making some new friends and acquaintances through Airbnb. Hailing from the Highlands, I'm bilingual, and a very proud 'Gael' or Scottish Gaelic speaker. I am also a native English speaker. I'm passionate about my country and am lucky to know her very well - having lived and worked in the North, South, East and West. I'm always happy to share my knowledge of Scotland with my guests. I am in love with music, especially new stuff that I haven't heard - any suggestions? Long term firm favourites of mine are Led Zeppelin, Prince and Pink Floyd, but right now I'm very much enjoying Mercan Dede's modern twist on traditional Turkish music and a taxi driver's Bedouin CD I copied hurriedly in the back of his taxi in Agadir.
