We stayed in this gem of a house for 7 weeks during the rugby world cup. The house is beautifully furnished with everything we could need - it has cosy corners for when there was just two of us but easily accommodated larger parties - it’s ideal for groups of friends. The location was perfect – the neighbourhood is very lively with all the shops bars and restaurants we could want (although because it is so tucked away, the house itself is incredibly quiet and peaceful) and we very much enjoyed getting to know it. The house is within an easy walk of Le Marais and from there into central Paris but the Voltaire metro station is also very close, Bastille metro interchange is at the end of the road and there is a taxi rank less than 5 minutes away. Nicolas and Jean Yves were great hosts – made us feel very welcome, left lots of useful information about the house and were incredibly responsive to any requests . We would recommend this house in a heartbeat. We had an amazing time.
Five stars are not enough. The house and location were even better than expected. We felt like we were at home. Excellent location. We felt very safe. All the best restaurants and record stores were nearby. Right on the metro with easy access to all the popular tourist spots. Our hosts were incredibly gracious and responsive. We would come back in a heartbeat.
We came to Paris with another family so two of us could run the Paris Marathon. This house was more than we could have hoped for. An absolutely stunning home in a great location. Nicolas and Jean-Yves were the absolute best hosts. They greeted us at their home when we arrived from the airport, gave us a tour, and made us feel right at home. They were even so welcoming to our children. If we ever come back to Paris, we will definitely stay here again.

Our family of 7 stayed at this beautiful home the week before Christmas. From our 1st interaction to our last, it was an absolute delight. We wanted a place large enough to accommodate us comfortably and luxurious enough to feel like a true vacation. This home delivered in spades. It looks even better in person than the photos. It is larger than it appears and beautifully furnished. The hosts are incredibly thoughtful and the house is equipped with everything you need, and more. Plus, they seem to truly enjoy being hosts which in turn, makes you feel more at home in their house. We felt like locals staying in the bustling 11th. It’s a fabulous neighborhood and we wandered down to the Louvre and the Marais easily. Taxis, Ubers were so close and we could have taken the Metro as well. I have had some great Airbnb experiences, but this was by far the best. There is a reason this listing is consistently 5 stars, and I hope to visit again! Merci beaucoup, Nicholas & Jean-Yves.
