I had such a relaxing week here, it’s a beautiful location, calming and cosy with so much outdoor activities to do. When I’m back in the area I will definitely book here again. Esther and Angus were such great hosts, it felt like visiting friends. Freshly laid eggs for breakfast each day too 😋

Super friendly hosts, with beautifully thought out accommodation, just perfect for 2. Couldn’t be in a better location for riding in the Tweed Valley with trail access straight out of the door. Homemade shortbread on arrival was absolutely delicious, thank you! Look forward to returning for our next visit.

We’ve just returned from a wholesome week and can’t thank Esther and Angus (and their delightful family) for their hospitality. They were so welcoming and kind and easy to talk to. It was great to have a tour around the outbuildings and Angus shared information about local wildlife. Seeing the barn owl in flight was magical! We were mainly out biking during the day but it was such a peaceful and cosy retreat to return to. And endless wood to keep us warm if needed. We arrived very early on our check in day and was handed some fresh shortbread and given lots of information for local walks whilst the bothy was prepped for us. We were able to leave the car and go for a wander. What a great start. We would love to return when we’re in the area again. Many thanks and warmest wishes to you all!
