A charming place to stay. The location is incredible… nestled between the trees and the river. The cottage is classically styled, contemporary yet keeping its old character. This is a lovely residence and the care applied to the decor is parallel to the care with the communication. Olly took time to personally introduce himself and ensure we were happy (which we were). The guest book is, unsurprisingly, full of compliments. Thank you! Our stay was perfect!

We were moving locally in the Borders and needed a place to stopover between final packing and moving out. This cottage stood out as a place to relax in beautiful surroundings. Although we knew the area it was dark by the time we left our house to drive the 30mins to Yair. It would have been helpful if Air B&B directions linked through to smartphone map apps so I could find my way. Reading the instructions on my phone screen was a bit 20th century! On arrival it was easy to get in and we noticed the thoughtful and very tasty homemade cake that had been left as a welcome. The cottage is well appointed and cosy. A modern Hive heating system makes it feel very welcoming. The main bed was very large and very comfortable and our two sons (22 & 20) were comfortable in the bunkbeds. We only used the cottage as a place to sleep as we were moving house. Olly popped along to say hello as we were leaving which was nice of him to do so. Would recommend to family & friends without hesitation

The cottage is in a beautiful setting and really well finished. We have a lovely stay and would definitely come back. The only downside was that the kitchen wasn’t brilliantly equipped for cooking - although it’s obviously very recently refurbished so this may be a work in progress.

Had a lovely stay over Christmas, Olly was a great host, super helpful. House was very cosy and comfortable. Such a lovely location, nestled in the hills. Felt very remote whilst not being. Loads of access to walking and riding from the front door, very close to amenities.

We had a lovely time here. The immediate surroundings are great and there are so many lovely towns and villages just a short drive away. Olly provided a really helpful list of places to shop, eat and visit while we were there. Overall, a relaxing time away in a nice cottage in a beautiful part of Scotland - a stay we can recommend, whatever time of year it might be.
