Fantastic stay - Looking forward to staying here again. The cottage is in a great location, private and was pristine. Rebecca is a very attentive host. We arrived early and were able to check in a little earlier, which was great. Can’t recommend enough!

We came here for our minimoon after getting married and absolutely loved our stay! We will 100% be back. Everything you need is nearby within a short walk, from excellent dog walks; cafes for tip top breakfasts and pubs; as well as a fuel station and supermarket. We loved the hot tub and the access straight down the river from the gate at the back of the garden and the little touches like the oodies and bubble bath included. One thing I’d love to see changed though (although I’d just bring a better eye mask in future) is the bedroom curtains/blinds. It is going light from 04:30/05:00 these days so I’ve been awake around that time being a light sleeper. It’s good for days when you’re working as it helps you wake up but on days off, you want the best lie in possible! This would make our stay even better if a £15 blackout blind went up or some curtains :) Nonetheless, we’ll be back later in the year with our newborn!

Beautiful, peaceful and cosy location. Amazing hot tub! River provides lovely background noise. Facilities well maintained and super smart. Great for exploring Gretna, Carlise and Lakes.

Excellent cottage just as the photos show, extremely clean and comfortable with clear check-in instructions and information guide provided on places to visit and eat. Hot tub was brilliant! Very relaxing stay, would definitely recommend.
