We have been providing bed and breakfast facilities for nearly 30 years and in that time many customers have become good friends. We pride ourselves on making guests feel at home – the kettle is often on the boil and laughter’s always welcome. Situated just off the A19 between York and Selby, South Newlands is an ideal base if you want to visit the Yorkshire Dales, Moors, Wolds or Coast. Pound Cottage is rated as Mobility Level 3 (VisitBritain). The cottage is all on one floor and has a spacious open-plan layout to allow for free movement in a wheelchair. One of the bedrooms has an ensuite wetroom with roll-in shower and free-standing shower chair.
