Robert is a superb host--very personable and knowledgeable about the area. He went above and beyond to make us welcome in his home and in the surrounding area. We will keep coming back!

82 Canal Street was just what I had hoped: convenient to Amtrak's Bellow Falls station, authentic and -- most of all -- friendly. The host, Robert, stayed in touch with me from the moment I booked the room until I arrived on a very late train. Upon my arrival, he heard the whistle and walked down the street to meet me, which helped greatly since the streetlights near his home was out. The guest room was colorful and comfortable, the kitchen very well equipped and the living room and kitchen homey. Robert introduced me to his other guests and neighbors who stopped by. He also happens to be very knowledgeable about the town and its history, having lived there for more than 40 years.

My sister and nephew stayed with Robert during their visit, due to a last minute problem at my place. He was wonderful about the last minute reservation, communication, just everything. He went beyond our expectations to make them welcome and comfortable. His place is wonderful,charming, cozy, and real. There were a surprising number of pine cones in the yard.

Robert was really nice person and he prepare what you needs. He has so many interesting items, you can feel nostalgic at his house. He also has nice garden to sit out side.
