Great place, nice and clean, spacious and conveniently located in a cute town, walkable to anything you might need. Whitney was a great host and responded promptly and helpfully to any inquiry I made. I would absolutely stay here again.

Great place to stay, private entrance and spacious accommodations. I rented the place for myself for three weeks, the biggest challenge was cooking. The mini fridge had no freezer and the options for heating food were the microwave and the small toaster oven, and there was an electric kettle, and a coffee brewer. And the bathroom sink serves as the kitchen sink as well. I brought an electric stovetop and was still able to cook, its just a challenge to be aware of. The bed is on the soft side, there is a kitchenette with bar stools, a couch, a dining table, and the bathroom houses a washer and dryer. There are also fully stocked bookshelves, unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to browse them. Saxons River is a small town, there are a couple restaurants and a convenience store, Bellows Falls is about a 10min drive east and has more stores and restaurants. Whitney and Alex are great hosts and are very responsive but not overbearing. Would recommend their place!

Whitney is an exceptional host and her apartment far exceeded our expectations. My husband and I were looking for a quiet and relaxing get away and Whitney’s place in lovely downtown Saxtons River provided just that. From the moment we walked through the door, we knew we made a good decision and my husband immediately said he would like to return. Whitney is thoughtful and provides her guests with breakfast items which allowed us to relax before venturing off. The apartment has a warm, relaxing feel with many special touches and her location was convenient for our weekend plans. Thirteen Burger and Smoke was a fun place to enjoy a beverage before heading over to MacLaomainn’s Scottish Pub for dinner and The Saxtons River Market is just down the street. We wished we could have stayed longer.

I had a very cozy and homey stay with my pup. The apartment was very charming and spacious. I loved all the bookshelves and appreciated the breakfast foods that were provided. It was a nice location in the middle of town, and my dog and I had a great walk to the boarding school campus and a run on the trails nearby.
