The little cabin was perfect. Spent a lot of time outside on the provided Adirondack chairs. Tons of birds, turtles, and newts spotted. Lovely spot to retreat. Grafton is an adorable small town and Chester, only about 10 minutes away, is also sweet and a nice afternoon trip.

I was looking for an inexpensive stay where I had wifi and could do my own thing, so more than a room in someone's home. it was comfortable. I had my own food so I did not need a kitchen. The portapotty and no running water was fine for one night. This place with a shower and toilet would be great.

The Sugar House is absolutely beautiful. The perfect size for 1-2 people with tasteful decor and feel. Destiny has thought of everything- even leaving a treat bag for my dog Molly. There wasn’t a thing I needed the whole weekend that wasn’t at the cabin. I had the perfect getaway- calm, peaceful, renewing. I can’t wait until the next time I can sneak away to the Sugar House.

My fiancé, our dog and I were looking for a place to stay in the surrounding areas to where we will be getting married this fall so we could explore the town before our wedding day. We saw this “pet friendly” space and booked it right away. A few days before our trip we were told the space was no longer dog friendly and we’d have to find accommodations for our pup. Luckily, he’s an emotional support service dog so they allowed him to come. There was no dog bed provided as promised. If you have a sedan or low car DO NOT come here when there is snow or rain. The amount of mud we had to try to drive through was so scary. Our car was bottoming out and sliding all over the road. We found upon arrival that the fire pits are “seasonal” and “are not put out yet” This was one of the biggest selling points for us to have a fire and cook our food over it. The inside of the space and outhouse were in great condition. Over all not impressed. Will not go back to this space.
