Living Room The inside of our cottage is newly renovated and offers all the comforts of home in a rustic mountain décor. Inside finishing features hickory hardwood and slate tile flooring, solid maple cabinets, a wood burning fireplace and large windows offering an expansive view of the surrounding environment. Bathroom The bathroom feels like a spa with its slate tile on the floor and walls and a comfortable claw foot bathtub to relax in. Bedrooms Each bedroom has a comfortable queen bed and window. Home Our large deck overlooking the mountains and lake to the south is a great place to relax and features an outdoor patio dining set and barbeque. Our cottage also includes a clothes washer and dryer. Nature Loons often call and most evenings, you can see the moon rising over the mountains and reflecting on the lake. 🪵Fire-pit Our outdoor firepit at the edge of the lake is a highlight for spending the evening relaxing while watching and listening to the sounds of the lake. Lake Enjoy your coffee on the large private floating dock just a few steps away from the cottage is a peaceful way to start the day with the quiet sounds of nature. There is very little water traffic on our lake and no development on the opposite side, so the only view is of natural forest and shoreline across the lake. The lake is great for swimming, watersports, fishing or exploring the many bays and secluded shorelines. Water access to launch boats is provided at the Eagle Island Resort or Peaceful Cove Resort for a fee. Boat trailers can be stored along the service road at our cottage entrance. Lac des Roches is a quiet lake with crystal clear water in a beautiful mountain setting. The lake is great for watersports, fishing, swimming, canoeing or just relaxing on the dock. The area provides an abundance of outdoor activites including ATVing, hiking, biking, sight seeing or whatever you enjoy outdoors in a wilderness environment. A breath of Fresh Air Smoke free home, you are welcome to smoke away from the home with doors closed and dispose of your butts properly.
