We arrived later past check in but Karen & Gary made it to where we would have no problems with getting to our room. Communication was amazing and our stay…omgsh our stay was relaxing and enjoyable. Breakfast was served every morning right on time. It was a quiet little stay and listening to the sound of a train every now and then made the stay even better. Enjoyed our stay with Karin and Gary. Lovely place! Breakfast is served at 8:30 which was very convenient. Just a short drive to Mammoth Cave. Overall, we had a great time.

This was nice to get away from everyday life, but more like a hybrid hotel stay. It looked like bed and breakfast but did not offer 24/7 available snacks, coffee, tea, games, movies, or any type of streaming video. The fireplace is not one you sit by. The television is basic tv no movie channels. There is no DVD player with a selection of movies to pick from either. The breakfast, though it tasted totally fine, was the basic hotel experience of pancakes or waffles both with bacon, eggs and a fruit bowl , no signature breakfast experiences. Also this bed and breakfast location is right beside a very active railroad tracks that does run through the night. The friendliness of the innkeeper was by far the best part of the experience with her friendliness and peppiness upon arrival being by far exceptional.

Enjoyed this B&B out in the country. The house is beautiful and has a really nice wrap around porch. Breakfast was delicious and come down early for breakfast so you can select where you would like to sit and fix a cup of coffee, hot cocoa or apple cider. Water bottles in the room were a nice touch.
