The host was quick to respond but curt in his communication. The kitchen counters and stove were clean but the cabinets, dishes, silverware, dishrack, silverware tub all needed a thorough cleaning, which I did. I asked early on about the a new vacuum bag because it STANK and seemed to have no suction. He said it had been changed two weeks ago. I opened it and found someone had vacuumed liquid with it, I cleaned it out, the bag was mis folded (corrected) then it worked OK but still had an off smell. The shower drain was clogged I asked but never received any help. I bought destop myself. The hot water tank leaks on you. The cabinets have many things in them but very few useful things in general the space was VERY full of the hosts items leaving little storage for the guest. Two drawers and one shelf were free the rest of the storage was packed full, the hanging space was obstructed but a decent amount available. Great place once cleaned and organized, you will be on your own.

Imad and Édouard were excellent hosts. Édouard was always quick to return calls e.g., after locking myself out of my apartment 15 minutes later I was back inside, thanks to Édouard and they were out of town at the time. Entering the apartment is a tiled hallway opening to a small courtyard probably centuries old. You’re close to plenty of cafes and places to buy food and just a short walk to the Seine. An ideal location. Fifty meters up the small cobblestone street is le Jardin du Luxembourg, a great place to picnic or walk. Going down the street is St. Sulpice church , you can see both places from the front door. You can tango on Wednesday nights in front of the church in the courtyard with statues and fountain. I was a guest for about 2 months during the spring of ‘23. I great place to stay.
