We stayed at Walter & Karens place for the month of April 2023. It was clean, perfectly decorated, well stocked and the perfect location. The condo has a shared pool with 2 other condos and those guest were friendly and shared nicely. The pool is heated. The unit is on the canal for fishing and manatee viewing. The manatee was easily 8ft and would come over to the seawall. We loved sitting on the screened in porch to eat out meals overlooking a tree area. There's a fish market and Cuban food truck within 5 minute walking distance. Reasonable price. The beach is a 8 minute walk and you enter with a key. Only the HOA association members have keys. On some days we were the only people there. There's chairs, covered picnic tables and grills. The water is a shallow sand bar and you could easily walk out 200 years and it was only 3ft deep. Sandy bottom and great for water walking. We met Karen & Walter on several occasions and they were responsive to everything we needed. We would love it!!!

What a gorgeous and comfortable home! The pool was an added bonus as well as seeing the manatees in the canal everyday. Walter and Karen were very responsive and accommodating. The home was spotless and had everything you could need in the kitchen too. We also enjoyed the fish cleaning station and even caught some fish from the canal. Make sure you check out the private beach. If you’re considering renting this home, do it! Can’t wait to come back with my family!

Awesome location, awesome hosts. Had a great time. Nice pool and boat dock. Easy access to Gulf or Atlantic. Will stay again.

This home is absolutely amazing in every way. There are so many things on the property to do that you do not even have to go out everyday. We stayed for three weeks with an 18 month-old and it was one of the best vacation experiences we have ever had. The outback area of the home is so worth the stay along with the beach right down the street. We can’t wait to come back next year! Walter and Karen were also amazing and such great host and make you feel so welcomed!

Beautiful home in paradise! The pool makes it possible to swim every day! There is a semi-private beach a couple blocks away. Very nice neighborhood with boat access directly to the gulf side of Islamorada. Walter and Karen were very attentive and responsive. The unit we reserved was a two bedroom apartment with full kitchen and screened in porch (my favorite part). This is part of a three-unit complex. The evenings were peaceful and quiet; the mornings were fantastic. I would highly recommend their place and I hope to stay again in the future!
