Wondering where to begin? Antonio, his family, and the staff are simply outstanding! Every moment of our stay at their stunning property was a joy: from the exquisite wines and delicious food to the engaging conversations with Antonio and his wife. The rooms and common areas are tastefully adorned, not to mention the enchanting outdoor spaces. We wholeheartedly recommend this country house to all - it offers an unforgettable taste of Portugal as it truly is, and we're already looking forward to returning for more memorable experiences :-)

Quinta da Pousada is an absolutely amazing vacation accommodation. The spectacular location overlooks the property's vineyard along with the same across the valley as well as across the street and above the buildings. It's super quiet with only the sounds of birds and running water in the valley below. There are multiple massage locations on the property, onsite restaurant serving an amazing multi-course supper, wine/port tasting opportunities and local tours of neighboring vineyards as well as Douro River cruising about 20-30 min. away. Breakfast is included and is an equally astonishing presentation and taste. The staff is very welcoming and always present to assist as needed. We are experienced hosts ourselves and fully recommend this stay to any future guests! We certainly plan a return.

Een charmante, prachtig gelegen poussada. We kregen een warm welkom waardoor je je meteen thuisvoelt. Heerlijk terras met prachtig uitzicht. Cosy, relaxte stijl… Kamer was leuk ingericht, goed en comfortabel bed. Een ontspannen plek om te verblijven!

We thoroughly enjoyed the history of the buildings, the tour of the estate, walking the vineyard and the wine/port produced from their grapes. Beautiful room, stunning views and a most accommodating host. Highly recommended!

Extremely friendly service throughout our stay! Excellent location with stunning views. Clean, quiet, and comfortable. Would recommend to anyone wanting to visit the Douro region.
