The condo was perfect for our stay Beautiful location Clean grounds and clean inside Kitchen was well stocked and they have plenty of towels and toilet paper which is usually an issue with Airbnbs we have stayed in Would definitely stay here again

House was very clean, hosts were nice, communicated about ALMOST everything prior to our arrival, even asked if we were bringing our boat, which I thought was super nice and detailed. I’m going to give my honest review of my stay for this place. Being a host myself I think it’s important. This listing really highlights all “the river fun” you can have, however, the water level, which is controlled by the damn, was too low to launch during the day for our whole stay. The host knew this information at least a day ahead of time, but didn’t let us know until our arrival, with our boat. On their listing it says “occasionally the water level is too low to launch” it seems to be more than “occasionally” When we arrived and checked in with the host he casually mentioned it and said, “ oh well it says it in my listing” as if it’s not that big of deal. I guess he assumed from the tiny bit of information in the listing, that should have been enough for me to know there is a potential for us not to be able to use the river at all for our whole entire stay until after the hours of between 5-7pm. They have great communication, it would have been nice for them to add that, in one of their multiple emails to me, prior to our trip. It’s also not river front. It’s in the back of their house which is river front, which they do mention but only underneath the picture, so you have to really pay attention to the detail. The picture also shows the launch and if you really look at it can see the water is too low even in that pic to launch, again another detail worth paying attention to. I failed to to do my due diligence, I suppose I thought since the river is so highlighted in their listing details and the fact that it says “Occasionally” it wouldn’t be an issue. Or I, at the very least, figured they would let us know of any potential issues before we drove 5 hours to stay. Anyone with a boat can’t launch. We were supposed to stay until Monday but we left early Sunday morning instead. It was pointless being there. I asked for the host to refund us for the last night that we didn’t stay and they denied it. Which was another inconsiderate thing to do. The hosts are nice but they do not highlight some of those important details enough in their listing. We drove 5 hours with our boat to enjoy the great river they boast about, then being told it wasn’t going to be available, in an unapologetic way, was pretty rude. This place is nice if your focus is hanging out in the house or playing in the front with the volleyball. their place is really clean and nice but it is not at all how they make it sound in the listing. So just be aware you really need to read between the lines with this one. Assume, when booking, you WILL NOT be using the river with any of your toys and you won’t be disappointed. I read one of the reviews saying, “it was close enough to Parker for you to join in if you want” which is one of the reasons I thought it would be perfect. I’m not sure what they were talking about you have to get in a car and drive for 10 miles to see anything at all that has to do with Parker. We are from out of town and don’t know the area, so we were confused on the location. We had to look it up on satellite to figure that out. That wasn’t the hosts fault, and it would have been fine had we been able to enjoy the river but that wasn’t the case. It was pretty unreal. So if you are thinking Parker is super close by, it’s not, You will be driving in a car, and you will most likely be launching somewhere in Parker if you stay here during the “occasional low water levels” They should just really provide a more detailed description of that critical information, to their guests, about this private launch and water level situation BEFORE they drive and pay thousands of dollars for an experience that isn’t going to happen.
