This place was awesome the detail that Karen and Bill put into this Silo is amazing. We enjoyed our stay everything was nice and clean and exactly as described. Karen and Bill were so friendly and gave us a tour of their house which used to be the barn and the detail was also amazing in there we enjoyed talking with them and hearing how they got started there. If you are looking for a Airbnb in or around independence Va. check this place out.

Karen’s property is the perfect rural oasis! Staying in the silo was such a unique experience. It is charming and cozy inside. It was a cold weekend but we felt perfectly comfortable and enjoyed amazing views. Karen was a fabulous host. She gave great local recommendations, served us delicious lattes, and was very generous - sharing whatever we needed including fresh eggs from her chickens. We had a blast trying to locate the hidden compartment using clues. There is nowhere else we would have rather ended 2023 and started the new year! We will definitely be back again. 🐓☕️

Dream Rock Suites is an oasis full of beautiful, handcrafted pieces made either locally or by Bill and Karen themselves! They are wonderful people with a wealth of knowledge and creative spirit. Take a moment to visit with them, they are both lovely. Karen is simply the sweetest host. She is thoughtful and proactive. She knew we were planning a hike during our visit, but the next morning was a hard frost, so she messaged us in the morning about a local Christmas market in case it was too cold to hike. We stayed in Dream Rock Silo. It is a work of art from the beautiful curved staircase and custom shower to the finest of details in the decorations. Couldn’t recommend enough. We would love to visit again.

Karen’s place was absolutely beautiful! The well-cared for grounds are lovely, with plenty of chairs to lounge around to view the creek and surrounding mountains. We enjoyed walking around the property to view the chickens and peek at the garden, as well as watching the cows in the pastures nearby. We were always accompanied by 2 of the dogs, who were friendly and a joy to be around. The fire pit was easy to light and comfortable to sit around in the fall weather. We stayed in the Silo, which was gorgeous! I loved the decor, layout, and scenery from the top bedroom and from the patio. We had everything we could possibly need while there. Maggie was always responsive if we had questions. The only complaint we had during our stay was something that Karen warned us about - the flies. We knew there would be some dead around the windows. Unfortunately there were far more than we anticipated. They fell dead across the stairs and in the bed. Otherwise, we had an amazing experience!

Karen and Bill's place was absolutely amazing. Being a host is Karen's calling and she pours her heart and soul into making sure every guest feels comfortable and cared for. Each space has something unique to offer and every detail had thought put into it to ensure the best stay possible for guests. The surroundings are stunning and everywhere you look there is something new to appreciate. I stayed in the Silo and it was the most perfect and unique getaway. The vantage point from the bedroom is amazing and being able to see the stars as you fall asleep is so relaxing. I can't say enough good things about Dream Rock Silo and I hope to stay here again! :)
