Taigh Alasdair was a beautifully peaceful place for my family to stay on Skye. We loved the views looking out towards the Isle of Raasay, and it was lovely being able to watch the sun rise over the island each day (and the little bats flitting about at sunset!). The house was nice and clean and cosy warm, and Mary was super helpful and responded quickly to any queries we had. My kids loved exploring the calm stoney beach at the bottom of the road, and the wild stoney beach with crashing waves on the headland!

The house was absolutely perfect, clean with the most wonderful view. We had everything we needed. The fireburning oven made the house even cosier in the evenings. The fenced garden was also perfect for our dog. Mary and her husband were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend the house 120%!

We had a wonderful relaxing stay, and would thoroughly recommend. The views are incredible from the spacious living area, and the location is very quiet and peaceful. We’d happily go back!
