Sherri and her husband were such great hosts! They allowed us to check in a bit early and when we got there they were completing the finishing touches on the place. They showed us around, how to use the hot tub, and informed us we could stroll around the property. They assured us they would not be a bother during our stay and they certainly were not. Wonderful hosts! Would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at the Maples! It was so nice to be able to bring our 2 dogs. Sherri even had a big dog bed that they both loved. The human bed was a sleep number and so comfortable. While we stayed we hiked the Mina Sauk falls trail, elephant rocks, and hit pickle springs on our way home. It was so great to soak in the hot tub after hiking & relax by the fireplace (stocked with wood). We made some meals with the microwave & toaster oven and picked up pizza at the Iron Mule. The cottage was less private than anticipated but we didn’t mind. It’s on a beautiful property. The stars at night were stunning ✨

Small and cozy, had received a great tour, and had very friendly dogs (which they made sure we were okay with before letting them all out).
