Fantastic place! Would love to stay again.
I am a frequent Air BnB customer, and this place is hands down one of the best Air BnBs that I have ever stayed in! First of all, the natural surroundings could not be more incredible! There is nothing but nature separating the house from the Berm/Toe Trail and mountains. It is absolutely breathtaking. Secondly, the description of this home matched perfectly to what we saw inside! Many Airbnb’s leave crucial details out of the description. Not this place! Four of us stayed here, and it was very comfortable. Even though the home is small, it is laid out in such a way that we didn’t feel on top of each other. Everything was very quiet as well. Lastly, this place was impeccably clean! We did a lot of cooking in the kitchen and found it to be very well stocked with dishes, cookware, and utensils. Richard was a wonderful host and extremely responsive! I would stay at this home again in a heartbeat!
We stayed for a month at Red Rock Ranch and were completely comfortable there. House was clean, beds comfortable, and location was perfect for everything we wanted to do. Having a hiking trail steps from the house was a bonus and we used it almost daily. It was also close to our favorite golf course and other hiking trails in the area as well as groceries and other necessities. Richard was responsive to anything we needed or questions we had. Thank you, Richard!
10/10 this Ivins home is right where you want to be for privacy, quiet and quick access to Snow Canyon, red cliffs, trails, etc. incredibly restaurants close by. The house was super comfy and easy. Richard is a great host!

I fell in love w the desert while going to school at Arizona State. After college I returned to NYC to start my career. I got my first apartment on Broadway & West 83rd Street when I was 23. I lived in the same building for 25 years. NYC was a great place for a 23 year old. My first apartment was a studio roof top apartment with views of the Hudson River, East Side and downtown Manhattan. In a way, it had a the same cozy charm as the Oasis does today. However, as much as a loved every minute in NYC I always wanted to head out West. I discovered St. George/Ivins UT after reading an article in the New York Times in 2004. I flew out in September, drove around for 5 days and decided Southern Utah was a perfect fit. I moved here on December 31st. 4 months to pack up a classic 6 apartment. I’m very glad I made the move. I love the desert, red rock mountains, hiking, swimming, beautiful skies, rainbows and last but not least, the sunshine. I actually need a lot of sunshine. Diagnosed w SAD living in NYC, Southern Utah was a cure all. I love the West and with great pleasure I get share Desert Oasis & Spa with guests from around the world. The garden, landscaping, overall setting is an ongoing labor of love.
