Myself and my Fiancé stayed for a weekend as a mini “staycation” for her 30th - the property was in prime location, with direct access to both the bio bay and rum point behind, making for an extremely relaxing weekend. We’ve both said we’d love to stay again at a later date to get away to the quieter side of the island when we need a refresh

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU BOOK! If you’re thinking of booking Shelly’s place at rum cove, don’t hesitate! It’s in a beautiful neighborhood, pictures are great but it’s even better in person, walkable to rum point, short drive to starfish cove, crystal caves and many more. Shelly is such a great host, she was very responsive and very proactive. As an Airbnb host myself I found Shelly’s place wonderful with many amenities, it makes you feel right at home. I promise if you are undecided between this place and any other go with this one! You can tell they go above and beyond to make sure your time is well spent on the beautiful island. Thank you Shelly my wife and I loved your place.

What a superb find, this property is so quaint and has such a homely feel - a home away from home. From the lovely decor to small things like ice in the freezer, a few handy herbs /spices for cooking, clean/nice smelling bedding and towels, this is an ideal stay for a single or a couple. The great outdoor space overlooking the lake is also great for relaxing/BBQ or making use of the kayak. If seeking the quieter side of Grand Cayman this home is an ideal stay.

Absolutely loved our three nights at Rum Cove, wish we could have stayed a week! Perfect location across the road from beautiful Rum Point which has upgraded its amenities substantially since we last visited the island years ago. Loved kayaking on the bay, visiting starfish point, watching the tarpon, stingrays and turtles from the dock at Rum point ending each day with a perfect sunset. Enjoyed dinners at Rum Point Solice, Kaibo and a great lunch at Over the Edge. Rum Cove was perfectly equipped with every amenity possible and hosts Shelly and Lyda were both quick to respond with any questions we had. They even went above and beyond offering to mail home a shirt my husband left behind. Looking forward to returning!
