This place was more beautiful than the pictures showed. It is very calm and relaxing especially for my daughter who has kidney disease and is being weened off a medication causing it. She also has Puluminary Embolisms .( Please keep her in prayers if you would and thank you) She was very comfortable here and loves sitting on the beautiful deck watching the water. It was very quiet and relaxing for her. The apartment had everything we needed in it and was very clean and beautiful. Great background for picture taking too. We enjoyed it very much.

We had a wonderful stay! The deck is everything! We didn’t get the best weather on our weekend, but still enjoyed being cozy in this lovely place! We hope to come back when the weather is warmer to get to enjoy the river and deck more. Elizabeth is super responsive, friendly and helpful. We would stay here again!

The setting of Elizabeth’s cabin is completely idyllic. The space is much more open-feeling than you’d think, and the view of the river is so wide and peaceful - even from inside, we very much felt on the water! We enjoyed seeing ducks flying and paddling back and forth, and coffee/beer on the expansive deck was so relaxing. An extra nice surprise in the house was that the tap water was so clean-tasting! I was nervous about the driveway, and the first time we drove it was at night, but it was actually quite easy to navigate - we had no problems at all! I also have to brag on Elizabeth & her husband for 1) promptly supplying a new grill at the house and 2) rescuing us when our van battery turned out to be dead on departure! These hosts went above and beyond for us like none other. If you’re considering a stay at this cabin, I highly recommend it! Regarding location, I’ll also mention that the drive into town is so quick, and the Washington Park overlook is not to be missed!
