This property was the perfect location for a virtual work retreat/staycation! It was a bright, peaceful, and inspiring space with beautiful decor and huge windows. Nice location with a coffee shop across the street, stores downstairs and down the street and other cute towns nearby and quick commute back to Des Moines. The stairs are a bit steep to get to the unit so keep that in mind when booking but they were fine.

a comfortable, beautiful and spacious apartment in a charming town. I appreciated how clean and roomy the space is + would easily come back again with the whole family. small areas for improvement: the bath water didn't run hot and i would've loved to have some curtain hooks to enjoy the morning light in the AM, or a seat in the bedrooms for when you're not quite ready to greet your companions ha! But truly a beautiful space, lots of character and thought and we loved our stay!

The 1894 was decorated so darling and comfy. The entire space was extremely clean. My night was peaceful and quiet. The owner was very kind and helpful. Excellent place to stay!
