Comfortable single room for professionals looking to rest their weary heads. Own private shower room in a family household. Only a short walk to a choice of stations that provide excellent access to the underground and other connections. Easy access to bus routes that will take you to wherever you need to go in London. At 6am, short walk to an all day cafe serving a range of breakfasts or just a few steps further, is the local bakery serving a range of pastries, smoothies and fabulous coffee. Family home with a very friendly cat and dog. But they won't disturb you unless you want to say hi.

Very cozy, yet spacious room with a super comfy bed. Anna was the kindest host you could wish for and I felt super welcome. The pets are friendly and cuddly, so a clear recommendation for people who like fluffy animal friends. Really happy with my stay overall!

This was my second time staying at Anna’s gorgeous home. On a quiet, leafy street, the house is welcoming and beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The room is small but has everything you need. The bed is comfy with a choice of two pillow types and has a pleasant outlook onto the gardens and woodland area, Anna and her family were so kind to me and the snuggles from the doggy made the stay even more perfect. Private bathroom is a bonus, with a hot power shower and toiletries to use. Towels provided were clean and soft. Will definitely be staying again. Thank you Anna for a lovely stay.

Anna is amazingly helpful and hospitable. She lives near my daughter and near where I lived for over 30 years so it feels very home-from -home at her place. She could not have been more helpful and I'm looking forward to another visit.

Nunhead itself is at the bottom of our road. You will have access to the amenities such as food/convenience stores, a few pubs, bars and restaurants, a famous Fishmongers, bakers and butcher. Just on the corner is a cafe serving typical English all day breakfasts. Alternatively, there is the bakery that's open from 6am as well serving delicious pastries, coffee, healthy smoothies and tasty sandwiches.
Minutes from our house is the stunning Nunhead Cemetery, one of the Magnificent Seven Victorian cemeteries of London and now a public park. A few bars, pubs and cafes in Nunhead itself, or just a 15 minute walk will get you to trendy Peckham or East Dulwich (15/20 mins walk) for shops, restaurants, bars, cinema and more. You can easily hop on a bus to access these local places or get into central London.

The house is just down the road from the local train station Nunhead, which services London Victoria/elephant and Castle (15mins), Blackfriars (15mins) for easy access to major routes. A 10 minute walk to the Overground line runs from Queens Road Peckham to London Bridge (7mins) and Clapham Junction, including to Shoreditch High Street and Highbury and Islington.
