Beautiful place, just as pictured. The walkable restaurant that was right outside of the gates was very convenient. Marie was very responsive to all of my messages, and very understanding that I had to check out two days early. The kitchen was equipped with the basics (oil, salt, pots, pants, plates, etc) and there were plenty of towels! The grounds were peaceful to walk and I felt very safe!

We stayed here two nights. The location is really nice and you feel like you're in the jungle. With that comes an abundance of beautiful sounds. It also came with a more rustic feel, more bugs, and a less than squeaky clean accommodation. Understandable. We loved cooking outside. The kitchen is well-equipped, even having a coffee grinder. There was some oil and a bag of salt and a bag of some pepper. Coffee would have been a nice touch in the beautiful mornings on the deck, but they didn't provide. If you like A/C, this place has it, which can be a nice relief from the humidity. The property is a bit overgrown, but it was quiet and peaceful. We arrived not knowing a retreat was happening there, and we had the only available unit that they didnt book out. Would have been nice to be notified in advance of this. But, the airbnb host assured us that we could use the yoga deck and freely roam. Overall, it was a nice stay.

I decided to come back for a 2nd stay after having such a positive stay the first time! I love it here! Peaceful and quiet location, good WiFi and AC, with an outdoor kitchen stocked with everything you need. 4x4 definitely needed for road to get to property and for drive up to unit once on the property. Great for bird watching and I enjoyed the natural swimming hole! Great stores and restaurants around Tinamaste and just north of your location which also made it a good spot for restaurants too!

An amazingly peaceful studio with a great outdoor kitchen that has everything you need! King bed was great. Bathroom is large and I loved the sky light. Waking up to the sounds of the birds and seeing pelicans and toucans outside the window was great. There is yoga onsite and a nice cool natural swimming hole. This place feels special and is very welcoming to those who want to be surrounded by nature and decompress. I hope to return again soon!

My wife, baby and I enjoyed our stay at Marie’s accommodations. Beautiful property to walk around and explore with numerous fruit trees all around which we loved. The accommodations were very private and we loved the outdoor kitchen with its nice views. We had amazing hospitality. The caretaker of the property Osvaldo was extremely kind and he made us feel very welcome during our entire stay. Both of us worked remotely during our stay and the wifi was totally sufficient for our needs (even for video calling). We did not have a car during our time (regretfully) but we managed to catch rides from friendly locals living in the valley which made things easier for us. Although we got around successfully by foot, it is recommended to have a vehicle as it’s very hot and not always quick to get a ride :) The kitchen has: a couple of very worn and scratched Teflon pots and pans and some other basics. Marie made sure we had a blender and coffee grinder. thank you for having us :)
