we had a lovely little stay here. cottage was clean and lovely. the cottage was being thatched at the time but didn't negatively affect our stay. Also the local walks and food recommendations were great and we throughly enjoyed our break. would definitely book again, maybe in the winter so we could have made more use of the beautiful log burner 😍

Bel environnement. Maison propre avec jardinet. Malheureusement des travaux de la toiture en paille on enlaidit la façade et déranger le passage vers la porte. Dan en a bien pris compte puisqu’il a fait une tres/trop légère remise et surtout qu’il m’a verti juste avant mon voyage. J’avais réservé mes dates en septembre pour un voyage en Mars! Il avait largement le temps de me tenir au courant. Trop tard donc pour prendre le temps de me relancer a rechercher un nouvel emplacement.

Such a lovely stay. The hosts were very quick at responding and provided us with a fire guard for the wood burner to protect the little ones when messaging them! Really useful guide book giving us tips for the local area!

It was an absolute pleasure being guests in such a charming cottage. We found it warm and cosy and had everything we needed for a short stay. The cottage was immaculate and very clean. Beds were also very comfy. Dan (the host) got in touch immediately upon booking and was really helpful. Hartest is a pretty village and perfect if you want somewhere quiet to escape. The village pub ‘The Crown’ is only a short walk away and was wonderful. Great food and friendly staff. Would definitely return if we visit Suffolk again.
