Leave your cares behind at this peaceful getaway in the woods. Be advised - we're not in town and the cabin is off the beaten path. The nearest convenience store is 5 miles away, WCU is a 15 minute drive, and the nearest town and services another 10 minutes. However, if solitude and down time are are what you're after, weve got you covered. A deck over a cascading creek, nature trails, rustic digs furnished with modern conveniences combine to satisfy the most discerning traveler. Come visit! Large living/dining room with two sofas - one is a fold out queen sleeper - and HD tv. Efficient kitchen with coffee and tea as well as all you need for meal preparation - you provide the food. Door off of the kitchen accesses the large covered deck beside the creek. Master bedroom includes king bed, a small sleeping loft, HD tv, and private access to the rear deck. Second bedroom includes full bed and laundry access. The smaller bedroom opens into the larger via an open doorway and both share a common bathroom entry located in the master.

Immaculate and comfortable home. The owner was very easy to reach when we had a question before booking.
What a beautiful place to stay! Quiet, up against a forest, the sound of a brook audible everywhere. The place was spotless and every amenity was provided. I had asked for an iron and ironing board, since we were going to a wedding and our clothes would be crushed in our suitcases for the trip, and VOILA! There they were when we arrived. Can' t beat responsiveness like that! The bed was EXTREMELY comfortable - slept longer there than I have in years. Unfortunately, it was raining heavily during the one period of time we could have used the trails, but that would have been the icing on the cake. Thank you, Polly and Ron!
Just the peaceful environment needed for our busy lifestyle. Hosts were extremely helpful with plenty of things at our disposal to make us feel at home in their lovely cabin in the woods!

This was our 2nd stay at the cabin and it was just as relaxing and lovely as our first visit.

We are located in the Caney Fork watershed. The area is residential/farm and very rural and quiet. Housing density is extremely low.
The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is less than an hour away. There are several public lakes, whitewater rivers for canoeing/kayaking and hiking/backpacking opportunities nearby. Access to the Blue Ridge Parkway is approximately 30 minutes away.
