This two units beautiful log home is perfectly situated in Corning providing the full country living with peace of mind first and foremost. Big Bear cabin allows for a family or couple to come and have the perfect getaway from the city. Big Bear cabin is estimated 5-10 minutes from the museum of glass, 1.5 hours from finger lakes, and only about 15 minutes from bars like hand + foot and more.

We enjoyed our stay, especially how clean the house was. One thing to note is that each bedroom has an open space overlooking the main lower level. It did not feel private and didn’t help with keeping the bedrooms dark and quiet. Also, the open space and lack of a double railing on the stairs was a concern for any kids visiting. The host was very responsive and helpful with any issues. Besides hearing gun shots during the day (assuming hunting or target practice) the area was very peaceful.

Serenity at its finest! The neighborhood is very peaceful and quiet. You rarely come across anyone but when you go Into the village and meet people everyone in Corning are extremely kind and courteous!

You will need a vehicle 100 percent of the time to get around Corning to be able to have fun visiting some of the most fun and attractive places.
