Welcome to Little Strollings, set in Plumpton Green, a quiet Sussex village, the perfect base to explore the South Downs Way, Brighton, the market town of Lewes, the numerous beaches, stunning country-side and great local pubs! This beautiful, newly renovated, studio barn is a perfect break for couples, families, walkers, cyclists and runners alike. Mainline station with direct trains to Gatwick and London Victoria. DOGS are only allowed if booked in, at a charge of £15 per stay. Little Strollings is a beautiful studio barn, adjacent to our main house, newly renovated in 2023 with open plan living / sleeping area and separate shower room. On street parking available just outside, entrance via the garden, where we provide a secure dog lawn and a table and chairs to sit and enjoy the afternoon sun. The main studio space has a luxury double bed, with organic Naturalmat mattress, hypoallergenic wooden bedding & pillows and luxury cotton sheets. Built in bunks (top bunk has restricted length, and a narrow opening in the bottom, so best for kids). A perfectly formed kitchenette with two ring hob, sink, fridge freezer and everything you would need for a simple meal prep. Or head out to one of the many local pubs in the area, grab fish and chips on a Tuesday or Pizza on a Wednesday from the visiting vans. The village shop is very well stocked including some fresh made ready meals. We provide tea, coffee, washing up liquid. A seating area features comfy armchairs and some local info including maps as well as some children's books. We also provide some board games, toys, a yoga mat and picnic blanket. Ideal for couples and families, visiting friends and those looking to explore the South Downs way, any of the lovely beaches or towns locally, Glyndeborne opera, and Plumpton races.

Perfect for what I needed- rest, quiet and a great nights sleep! V comfy bed, lovely self contained space styled and laid out very nicely, secluded even though next door to owners, beautiful bathroom, a well kitted out kitchen, and added to all that a gorgeous walk just out the door to some stunning bluebell woods. Great!
Beautiful little place just as the photos show.Clean and fresh for towels and bedding.Perfect for what I needed for 2 nights.A few pubs near by & a little shop too.The enclosed garden was great for my dog,I was very happy he would be safe out there.Great location for train into Brighton. Alienor was friendly,helpful & offered us a late check out ,for my daughter who ran the marathon to return and shower which was so appreciated.

We stayed one night in Alienor's place and it was just what we needed. The house/ studio is an annex to Alienor's home with a separate entrance. It has everything you need for a short stay, including a little kitchenette. Alienor was incredibly responsive and check in was easy. Alienor was also kind enough to post a watch that we left behind. The accommodation is extremely comfortable and clean, with excellent wifi connection. The only thing to note is that there are no shops (other than the local newsagents/ post office) in the village so one will need to drive for about 15-20 minutes for restaurants/ cafes. This was fine for lunch and dinners but slightly more tricky with breakfast, especially with little kids as the studio does not come with any basics (other than tea/ coffee/ milk). All in all, a great stay and we will definitely stay again.
Could not recommend this highly enough. Beautiful space for 2 adults and 2 children. The design and space was perfect and lovely treats provided by hosts for our arrival. Our children loved the bunk beds and slept very well for 2 nights! Lovely selection of teas, hot chocolate and coffee and great kitchenette. Bathroom and complex lovely and clean and great towels provided by host. Alienor and Simon were great on communication and lovely in person. Look forward to booking again in the future! A wonderful Airbnb stay and would recommend to all.

Plumpton is a sweet village, including a mainline train station, village shop and 3 local pubs. Vineyards within walking distance and the South Downs way is 4km away. Beautiful countryside walks on the doorstep and plenty to do further afield such as Brighton, Lewes, glyndebourne opera. Beaches 30 mins drive include, Brighton, Hove, Seaford and Shoreham. Plumpton’s racecourse is a 8 minute walk.
Ample free parking on the street (apart from Sunday mornings as we are next door to the church!) Plumpton’s station is 8 mins walk away
