This unique riverside flat in the centre of Shoreham-by-Sea has 2 bedrooms and sleeps up to 5 guests. Just a 5 minute walk from the beach, and overlooking the Adur Estuary Nature Reserve, its the perfect retreat for families, friends, birdwatchers, paddle boarders and sun-worshipers alike. For those looking to explore the local area, buses run regularly from the high street, and Shoreham train station is just a 5 minute walk: perfect for day trips to Brighton or Worthing. Comfortably furnished throughout, the flat boasts one large double bedroom with river views, and a further double which can be set up as a single, twin or double on request. A fold-out bed is available to accommodate a 5th guest in the living room if needed. A travel cot and high chair can also be provided on request. There is a beautifully bold and retro family bathroom; kitchen; and an open plan living / dining space that leads onto a balcony overlooking the River Adur. Make yourself at home - we have loaded the bookshelves with books and board games; stashed some beach essentials in the hallway cupboard and stocked up on fresh bread, milk, tea, coffee and sugar for when you arrive.

Fijn appartement, dichtbij de winkelstraat maar toch rustig omdat t er iets vanaf ligt. Mooi uitzicht op de River. Gezellig ingericht. Lief dat er een brood lag en koekjes, koffie, thee en suiker zodat we dat niet gelijk hoefden te halen. Het water uit de kraan in Shoreham by Sea vonden wij niet zo lekker dus kochten voor 1 pound grote flessen water. De keuken is gedateerd maar alles functioneert. Bedden lagen heerlijk. Schoon en voldoende kussens. Woonkamer oké, mag lampje naast oudere bank (voor licht ‘s avonds) erbij maar dat komt er vast! Leuk dat er spelletjes voor de kids liggen. En een sterren- en verrekijker. Dichtbij t strand! Ook vlakbij een Franse bakker (4 min lopen) en bij de supermarkt (Coop). Redelijk makkelijk te parkeren in de buurt (bij de betaalde parkeerplaatsen moet je wel elke dag opnieuw betalen). Een mooie omgeving met Londen, Brighton & Worthing als gave plaatsen, + mooie natuur! We voelden ons thuis.

Absolutely lovely extremely clean flat. Perfect location for shopping and strolling. Relaxing atmosphere with great views of the estuary. Adam and Rachel were very responsive to my questions. I would certainly rent again. Vivienne

Riverside House is set on the river in heart of Shoreham-by-Sea. Every pub, bar restaurant and shop are on the doorstep. The beach is a beautiful 600 meter walk by footbridge which crosses the river onto the beach.
Brighton and Worthing are 6 miles along coast, 10 minutes by train, short bus journeys or coastal bike path.
If you are driving to Riverside House there is an area directly outside that can be used for drop-off and pick up.
There are 6 nearby council car parks, 3 within 300 meters of Riverside House and free on street parking is available.
Shoreham-By-Sea train station is an easy 650 meter walk through the town. The bus stop to Brighton and Worthing is directly outside 25 meters from the door.
Shoreham Harbour and Shoreham Airport each accommodate visiting vessels and are only a short walk from Riverside House.
