Lovely modern townhouse within easily walking distance to Parliament, CBD, waterfront ,botanic gardens and grocery. Comfortable beds with wonderful linens and 2 full bathrooms makes getting fit the day easy. Fully stocked gourmet kitchen and a large dining room to eat your meals. Relaxing in the large lounge was easy in the very comfortable furnishings. So nice to have lots of natural daylight and a balcony to enjoy on warm days. If you have a car , the garage attached to the house makes parking easy. Appreciated the fancy Bosch washer and a dryer for laundry. We’ve enjoyed our 2nd stay and the hosts are kind and gracious in sharing this wonderful place to stay!
Lovely Thorndon two level townhome with garage. Hosts were very friendly and responsive with communication. Kindly left us starter supplies and a great informative book on all aspects of the home and neighborhood. Being frequent overseas visitors to Wellington to see family, we appreciated the easy walk to New World, the CBD and Botanical Gardens. We love to walk all over Wellington and this was a very convenient place to stay. Fabulously decorated and clean , with very comfortable furnishings and linens. As it was winter during our visit we enjoyed the central heat of the main floor as that is what we are used to. Easily the best place we have stayed on our many trips and we hope to stay again.
A very comfortable excellently equipped house with lovely artwork very conveniently situated 10-15 minutes to waterfront.
Very comfortable and real homey feeling with all the original art works, exceptional value, close proximity to top local restaurants and services in a village like atmosphere. We particularly enjoyed the relatively short walk to the botanical gardens. Wellington residences generally don't have air conditioners and the many windows in the townhouse made the stay pleasant despite unseasonably warm weather. There is a car repair service adjacent to the unit which had an affect on the ambiance with occaisional noise during working hours. As usual in 3 story town houses there are stairs which in this case were well designed and carpeted. The only inconvenience with no toilets on the main floor.
The house was lovely and close to the city with great little restaurants and cafes close by.

I enjoy travel and exploring new places and experiences. My partner Terry and I both love to get off the tourist trail as much as we can to explore at a local level. I have been asked if I have a favourite travel destination but there have been so many wonderful moments, so many great experiences and people we have met and even the times that have not run smoothly all add to the richness of travel. That said, one of my most memorable trips was in 2013 walking the Camino de Santiago pilgrim trail in Spain, it was a truly wonderful experience on so many levels. One of the joys of AIRBNB are the people we meet either as hosts or travellers.
