True to all the reviews, this jungle hideaway was my refuge and stay. So precious to be able to build a rapport and community with the neighbourhood as well. From the laundry to the farmers to the cafe Kechil family right down to the cows living in the rice fields… a sense of home, peace and family…

This is a very underrated place, I mainly needed it for working remotely and it delivered with a bang! All amenities were at my disposal, beautiful garden with a hammock and a hut for meditation/relaxing, fresh fruit from the trees, rice paddies all around. Just down the street there is a delicious breakfast café that you absolutely should try (Kesil is the name) and a bit further down is the main street that would take you to DT Ubud (which is about 10-15 minutes by scooter). Jack and Rosie were amazing hosts to deal with, super responsive, incredibly friendly and nice, gave me tons of recommendations to do around Ubud, so I really couldn't ask for more. Will certainly try to stay with them again before the end of my trip! Oh, and there is a bonus in a form of 2 very cute and cuddly cats that live in the yard, I sure am going to miss them!

Staying with Rosie was such a lovely experience. She was very kind and made me feel right at home the moment I got there. My two week stay was full of much needed rest. On days when the cleaners would come in the morning, we would walk to a local breakfast spot and get to know each other more. The highlight of my stay was getting to know Rosie and Jack, they are very playful and silly with a balanced mix of responsible adults. Grateful to have made a couple new friends here in Bali.
