We had a wonderful stay in the Ermintrude, thanks to Fiona, our host. She was right there to greet us when we checked in. From the moment we stepped inside we knew we did not want to leave. The place was clean and cozy. Tastefully decorated. Fiona went above and beyond by providing us with arrays of welcoming gifts from beautiful flowers, fresh fruits, eggs, and beverages. Living on the boat was really fun. We enjoyed watching all sorts of vessels go by. When Albert bridge lighted up at night, it was even more magical. Convenient location to King Street in Chelsea and Sloane Square. Battersea Park across the bridge is nice too with many activities for families. Thames Clipper (Uber boat) also stops right here at Cadogan Pier. We would love to come back and stay here again some day. Thank you Fiona!

In such a busy part of London the boat felt like a little bit of calm. The view over the bridge were stunning. The boat had everything we needed. Wish we could have stayed longer and would definitely go back!

Our stay on Ermintrude was terrific. The boat is beautifully renovated with all required amenities on hand. Fiona made the entire process stress-free and left a well stocked fridge for us to enjoy on our stay. If you’re reading this review and on the fence, don’t be, just book it - we’ve been travelling for 80+ days and this was by far the best accommodation experience we had. Clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated, luxury provisions, and the Themes to gently rock you to sleep at night. Perfect!

First of all, Fiona was awesome. she was there to meet us near the boat and explain all the details of the stay which was very helpful for us to settle down. This was our first houseboat experience, and it turned out to be an outstanding one. The place was as described, clean, and welcoming. I would highly recommend this place. This is a very unique experience. It feels like you are in the ocean but in the middle of London. The view from the boat is spectacular. The boat is just under a bridge that lights up at night, a sight that is unbelievable to see. The place is secured behind two gates with entry codes. Only people with the code can enter. The boat is tied to the pier, so it is very safe, so it's not going anywhere on its own. The structure of the boat makes it very stable, but you may feel a slight swaying when the waves hit it, which is expected. Overall, we couldn't have a better experience than this. I will gladly stay again.
