My mom and I enjoyed our stay here. The place was simple, clean, and with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. We would walk the dirt road at sunset and everyone that drove by waved. Perfect location for exploring the Bandelier area, and other places north of Santa Fe. A short drive to Ojo Caliente and Ghost Ranch. The Airbnb was extremely quiet and peaceful the first few days, but after there was a neighbor with a barking dog that woke me during the night a few times, but overall very quiet. The only drawback was when I looked at the pictures I thought there was a bedroom, however it is all one space with no door and a higher closet/wall partition for the bedroom area. My mom slept on the couch which was deemed another bed, but she found it uncomfortable. Besides that everything was good. Our host was very responsive and helpful with any questions.

The Casita is a peaceful place if you're looking to stay out of town. It's quiet with great views of the arid landscape and the stars. Centrally located to travel to Santa Fe, Espanola, Los Alamos, and White Rock. Nicole is an excellent communicator and very responsive. And having a washer and dryer during an extended stay was really helpful!

Top-notch communication from the host with suggestions on excursions (loved Bandelier) -- and tips on a beautiful back road drive to Ojo Caliente (loved Ojo). The home is splendid and spread out in the desert, and the casita attached where I stayed was ideal and had everything I needed (including a washer & driver that came in handy!) -- loved the art and design of the sweet place -- the super comfy bed, great bathroom & shower -- and most of all the open sky. I appreciated the much-needed privacy due to my need to simply rest and be still after many adventures in New Mexico. I also needed to work online in between, and Nicole guaranteed excellent wifi -- and it was exactly that! Plus a super bonus, she allowed me to check in early so I could accommodate my clients. Like the reviews said, it is a gem of a place and is run by pros. You won't regret this place, and it really is a smooth drive to Santa Fe and close enough to other hot spots, but a mountainous, desert retreat home.
