This rustic and cozy cabin over looks Loon Lake and is a great place to relax with the whole family or friends. Enjoy rainbow trout fishing and all water sports, with access to a shared boat launch, and relax on your own private dock where you can tie up your boat. The area has lots of logging trails if you like to get out on your ATV or dirt bikes. If you enjoy nature there is lots of wild life to enjoy…Osprey, eagles, deer and more. This cabin has 2 bedrooms with a queen bed in each room as well as a queen bed and a single bed in the loft. Sleeps 7 only. Well behaved pets are welcome. Please keep them off furniture. There are also gates on the deck to keep your fur babies safe. Enjoy your evenings around the campfire (marshmallow sticks provided) or star gazing at the wide open sky.

Second time staying at Louise and Randy’s cabin and still the most beautiful place in BC! The lake view and the quietness of the surrounding area makes one hate to leave it! They recently added the opportunity to rent their Pontoon and it definitely elevates the experience of the lake! Can not wait to come back in the spring!
Wonderful spot for a mini family reunion
Beautiful little cabin on the water! Gorgeous view and very cozy. The lake was just across the street with a private dock! Beautiful big deck and the place was very pet friendly! Will come back again :)
I can not express how beautiful and peaceful this place it! Over looking the lake with the owners close by to help in any way they can! Randy even took us out on the pontoon to see the whole 13km of the lake which was such an unexpected experience for us! The dog was welcomed and free ranged and loved it as much as the kids did! In fact I loved it so much we booked another week in September!

Loon Lake is located between Cache Creek and Clinton off highway 97. Approximately 4 hours from Vancouver and 1 hour and 20 minutes from Kamloops. There are a couple of resorts on the lake where you can get basic things but your are limited so bring groceries.
Loon Lake is home to both vacation properties and all year round home owners. The area also has a few resorts where you can go for basic supplies, boat fuel and possible boat or pontoon rentals for the lake’s popular rainbow trout fishing. It is about a 15-20 minute walk from our cabin to Marigold resort to get frozen ice cream treats. Loonlake road takes you in and out to highway 97 or you can venture off into the many back country logging roads.

I’m Louise and my husband Randy and I became owners of this awesome rustic cabin in 2021. Randy is a retired firefighter (who is also a volunteer firefighter at Loon Lake). Randy’s family has owned a cabin on Loon Lake for over 40 years and have always looked forward to our trips from the lower mainland to Loon Lake creating wonderful life long memories with our 4 kids. Now we hope to provide that opportunity to others.
