Fantastic location and incredible amenities. Way more space than we needed for three people, but well worth it to have the pool, spa, and outdoor area. We would easily stay here again. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. We were told that pool cleaners and gardeners would be coming by; we didn't notice anything other than the evidence of their work. The path to the beach across the street was less intimidating than we'd assumed. Yes, it's steep (14% grade average - thanks Strava), but paved the whole way. Someone on the beach described two other trails in the area that sounded way more intense.

My family and I rented Genevieve’s house for two months and loved everything about the house, the beautiful yard and neighborhood. We enjoyed daily walks to the beach, the various nearby hiking trails and exploring La Jolla cove which is only a few miles away. We would love to return someday but until then, will cherish our memories.

This is one of the most beautiful AirBnB homes we’ve stayed at. The grounds are stunning and the trail to Black’s Beach, across the street, is epic. Our family loved the treehouse, trampoline, endless books, and very well-stocked kitchen. This is a wonderfully comfortable and spacious home to explore San Diego with easy access to the highways, beach, Scripps, La Jolla downtown, and more. We would love to stay at this home again!

Gen’s place was a great family spot for us around thanksgiving. The backyard was a haven for the kids. She was extremely responsive during the trip of anything coming up. And best of all she was extremely flexible during our time there - never had a host as responsive and flexible as Gen. can’t wait to come back to this oasis!
