We had such a great time at Millerd Mountain Lodge! Beautiful environment, we could explore, flyfish and bird! The house is equipped with everything you need. Lovely fireplace inside and helpful staff. Our dogs loved it as much as we did! Looking forward to be back!

Wonderful farm experience on a working farm. Most attentive host- highly recommended.

Lovely old farm house on a working farm. Beautiful area, clean streams. We were invited to walk wherever the road took us and fly fish in the stream. The pool table kept us entertained in the evenings. Wood was provided for braai and fireplaces. Lovely big kitchen table and large living areas leading out to the garden adds to the farmhouse-charm. Six huge bedrooms with wooden floors and large windows allows for enough space for everyone.

This is a real gem in the Eastern Cape. Suitable for small or large families and large groups wanting a private getaway space. We spent Christmas there and it was exactly what we needed - a home away from home and in wild nature. The Mountain Views and trees in the garden made it quite unique. It is also a working farm which makes it interesting to explore. The drives in the area are other worldly - reminds me a bit of driving through the alps in Switzerland.
