The location was very convenient for exploring Santa Monica with the pier and promenade within walking distance. Apartment was clean, tidy, and had everything as advertised. Erika provided detailed instructions for getting to the airbnb. Both Erika and Joe were easily accessible through text/call if we needed anything. The only downfall of this airbnb is the animal rescue that is directly across the alley from the patio. The dogs often began barking very early in the morning. Ear plugs or headphones with white noise is an easy short-term fix. Joe has assured that he is in contact with the city for a long-term solution! If you’re there to make the most of your day out and about, by the time you’re awoken by these natural alarm clocks you’ll be well rested from the incredibly comfy bed. There’s a lovely diner just around the block that you’ll be eager to get to for breakfast, anyway. Overall - great location, affordable price, clean and modern place, wonderful hosts!

Beautiful stay in a walkable part of town. Joe and Erika were so helpful and flexible checking in. Clean and comfy apartment! Like other reviews have stated, there is a dog kennel behind the complex which can be noisy during the day. Would recommend this spot as a homebase to explore Santa Monica!

The good- The place is centrally located near everything in Santa Monica. On-site, secure parking is a great benefit. Location is very safe and secure. Joe does a great job with easy to use check-in instructions. The unit is great as well, feels very new and has everything you’d need for your stay. The not so good- Simply put- the noise. The unit backs up to the Santa Monica animal shelter so there’s a large amount of dogs barking thought the day. 5:15 am was the earliest time. They were pretty quiet at night so it didn’t affect sleep. If you’re planning to work from home here I’d recommend against it, it was the worst at daytime. The unit is also located next to the elevator which makes a pretty obnoxious heavy screeching sound each time it goes up and down.

Great place to stay! I was really impressed with how clean it was and it’s very well furnished. I wish we could’ve stayed longer! The hosts were really nice and helpful. I’d definitely recommend this cute little modern apartment in Santa Monica!

super logement chez joe. Lui et Erika sont très réactif. nous avons eu un souci pour ouvrir la porte du garage et Erika a réglé le problème très vite. seul petit problème, le chenil juste derrière le logement et les chiens qui sont calmes une nuit sur 2... peut être opter pour des châssis plus isolant dans le futur. Le garage disponible est un vrai + très agréable et très sécuritaire pour la voiture. bonne semaine en règle général :)
