Our house is a converted boat builders workshop. It is a slate built property with some of the original oak beams. It is tastefully modernised with double glazed units. There is a large modern dining kitchen with breakfast bar, a dining table for 6, sofa bed and flat screen tv. The lounge boasts a log burning stove and 2 large sofas, large flat screen tv and wonderful view. There are 2 double bedrooms, the master with ensuite.There is also a family bathroom, off street parking for 4 cars Modern kitchen, with Neff cooker, dishwasher, microwave, American style fridge freezer, kettle etc Dining area with table and 6 chairs, flat screen TV and sofa bed. Large lounge with wood burning stove, 2 sofas and flat screen TV. There are 2 double beds, 1 with ensuite and house bathroom

Lovely place, very clean, and great facilities
Had a great time staying here, very nice cottage with plenty of room. Not too far to drive up to tourist locations so had a great time exploring the Lake District. Angus is responsive in communicating and was easy to arrange everything.
We had such a lovely stay here. The owners are very responsive to messages. The house was easy to get into and clear instructions were given. The house itself is absolutely stunning, beautifully decorated and pristine inside. It’s a great location for getting around the lakes but away enough to have that peaceful break. We would love to come and stay again!

Grizebeck is situated at the head of the Duddon Estuary. There is a garage close 2 minutes walk where you can buy essentials. The Greyhound pub is 3 minutes walk serving great food and beverages with beer garden to front and rear. We are 5 minutes drive from Broughton in Furness where there is a butchers, bakers, general store and 3 pubs and a beautiful village square.
