The condo was very clean and nicely furnished! Beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had the essentials! Just be aware that the water park is not included in your stay, which was fine for us, but when we went to try to buy passes they wouldn’t sale them to us because the resort was at full occupancy, which was excruciating for our autistic son, so we had to go find another place to take him swimming, which was the whole point of staying here! None of this was the host fault, but it was a hardship for our family, so if you have kids and want to use the resort’s water park, make sure to check if you can get in first! Joanna was responsive, the place was nice, so I would stay again during a less busy time!

Joanna's place was very nice, clean, and quiet. It is located in the Grand Bear Resort complex across the street from Starved Rock State Park and within minutes of other state parks and sites of interest. Would definitely stay here again.

Joanna's place was great, cozy and private, a quiet retreat from the city. She provided clear check-in instructions, and gave us her personal contact info should anything come up. No concerns with her place, had everything we needed for our long weekend getaway

Great place to stay and enjoy the local hiking. Condo was clean and welcoming.
