Enjoy our tidy and relaxed seaside bungalow in a quiet neighborhood. Walk to food, shopping, beach parks with bathrooms, showers and pavilions. River on the west, ocean on the east sides of the peninsula. Watch the sun and moon rise over the ocean. HOUSE RULES NO SMOKING inside the bungalow or garage, smoking outside is okay. Please dispose of your butts and ash properly. BEACH chairs, beach towels and a cooler are available. Use only beach towels at the beach. Please rinse the sand off and return all beach gear as you found it. If you discover any damage or defects in the gear, please let us know. BIKES Do a safety check on the bikes before riding. Tire pump is in garage. Patch kit and tools are in the drawer of the little wooden stand. Helmets and bike lock are also available. Hose off salt and sand from the bikes as you return from riding. The bike lock key is on the hook by the door. When you choose to ride, you are riding at your own risk. TRASH & RECYCLING PICK UP Monday the trucks do two passes up and down the drive. They pick up on our side on the second pass later in the day. Do not store trash inside the house, garage or shed. Remove full garbage bags and put them inside the large blue trash can outside the house. Place trash and recycling into the proper bins and haul the trash can and recycling bins to the curb on Monday mornings before 8:00 AM or Sunday night. ON DEPARTURE: Remove all perishables from refrigerator and dispose of opened food containers. Strip beds and put soiled towels and linens in the laundry room. INTERNET: the wireless name and password are on the unit under the TV. SMART TV: Roku TV, log in and stream. Some antenna tv stations. MEDICAL: There is a list of Urgent Care Centers with phone numbers in the desk drawer. WASHER & DRYER: please clear lint. Check the overflow bin behind the washer as grey water drains sometimes there is overflow when doing a lot of laundry. NO PETS Unwind with the ocean, blue sky and sunshine. The best thing about our bungalow is that you can walk to the guarded beach parks with restrooms, and showers and long walks in the sand, wading in the warm, salty Atlantic Ocean. There are turtle nests identified and protected by the "Turtle Patrol", beautiful birds, whale watching, dolphins, the occasional stingray or shark. The daily gifts from the ocean are there to discover. It is a friendly environment with, shopping, groceries and restaurants to walk or bike to. If you want boardwalk, movies and action, it is just 8 miles south to Daytona's Ocean Walk where there are free concerts and amusements. Also, Historic St. Augustine, the most ancient city in the USA is just 45 miles north, a beautiful drive up A1A along the ocean, is a fantastic day trip. Start out early to enjoy this amazing place, especially St George Street, and be back home in time for a beach walk or lounge to unwind. A drive North on John Anderson Blvd., which is on the west side of the peninsula, takes you to wild Florida landscapes with beautiful wildlife sanctuaries then ends up in Flagler Beach a charming neighborhood north of North Peninsula and Gamble Rogers State Parks.
