Having been visiting Cahuita for the past 20 years, I can definitely say this is the best place we have ever stayed. We booked in an idyllic two bedroom cottage with fauna and wildlife at our door. Please don't scroll past this- just book it!

This location was awesome and Marise was a great host. The access to the beach and a few restaurants/bars was wonderful. Literally only a few steps away and the town/national park was maybe 3/4 mile away and easily walkable. Everything worked, was clean and exactly as advertised. We would definitely stay here again.

Exactly what we wanted. Animals in the gardens, spacious house, friendly locals. Garden is amazing and hearing the Caribbean while eating your breakfast is excellent. Lots of iguanas, sloths, crabs etc locally or in the trees. Restaurants within walking distance. Would highly recommend.

The guest house is very well cared for, including the houses and gardens. The grounds are beautiful, an oasis in the jungle. The AC is a plus. We saw two types of poison dart frogs right near our house, a highlight for the kids. The hosts were very friendly and pointed out the animals to all guests. The area was easy to navigate. Hire a guide for cahuita, we had a great walk through the park seeing so many animals then played at the beach.
