A well planned and well thought out house, with a good location to the national park, but already a bit outdated. In addition, the quality of cleaning could be improved to provide a more comfortable stay (dirty casserole dishes, cobwebs in the bathroom including spiders, greasy floor, etc.).

Everything was as described in the photos. Photos. However, can not do justice to the setting and gardens. We were awakened each day to the beautiful garden through the full glass walls and the wails of the howler monkeys in the nearby National Park - they did pay a visit one afternoon to feast on the fruit of one the garden’s trees. We walked to the National Park entrance and Cahuita’s restaurants several times and then ventured down to the more bustling Puerto Viejo for restaurants and shops. A little bit further south, we liked the beaches atPunta Uva. A car is not a necessity as the town can be reached by foot in 20 minutes, but we enjoyed the freedom to venture further. The house was well equipped and Antonio and Paulette were responsive and helpful.
